tea time thoughts and tales
from rants to politics, from leisure to city stress, from Kaffeklubben to Madras….. all the things, all the places, all the experience, all the people and memories are kept forever. “Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose” ~The Wonder Yearsthe fab pinay.. freshly brewed
My name is Tieza (Tiez for my really close friends). My family and relatives call me by my second name which I wish not to disclose.
They say I am a cause-oriented soul as I am involved in various local and international civic organizations and NGOs such as the Asian Youth Forum International, One World Youth Project, Philippine Youth Business Foundation, Amnesty International Human Rights Youth Action Network – Philippines, World Youth Alliance, Greenpeace, WWF and Oxfam International.
I am also involved in the development of several potential sites for Renewable Energy project facilities in the Philippines.
I am the first Youth Ambassador of One World Youth Project in the Philippines and dreams of becoming a diplomat someday.
I love to travel and go places. I love to explore and experience different cultures and food. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and learning from them their history, customs and tradition.
I love a few sports, just watching and not actually playing them because I am not athletic unless of course you consider cheerdancing, which I used to be good at back in high school.
I love to dance jazz, hip hop and ballet.
I love mother nature and I love the beach, sand, sun, sunblock and salt water a lot! (I just recently learned how to jet ski and ride the banana boat and enjoyed the drop at lot!)
I speak several languages some of which I am fluent at (English and Filipino), semi-fluent at(Spanish and French, since I have not practiced it for a long time) and trying to be fluent at, meaning I am still learning (Japanese, Italian and German).
I love fashion and style but I am not a socialite-wannabee. I love art and colors. I appreciate the beauty of everything – from Mother Nature to people to almost all the things I see.
I am proudly Filipina. Fab… Pinay… and true…
I believe in the simplistic value of my culture and heritage.
This blog is all about me, my thoughts, dreams, beliefs, hopes and life. If others see life as a race to the finish line where the first to arrive is the winner, I see my life and future as a journey where I am faced with constant challenges at crossroads. I always see life as if I am a traveler appreciating every beautiful thing that comes my way.
I take the road less traveled and I leave my mark and light the path for those who wish to follow.
That is who I am, full of live, happiness and love. I have a vision and I believe in that. I can change the world and I hold on to it.
